Ultimate Guide to the 1325 CO2 Laser Cutting Machine: Specs, Features, and Applications

If you are scaling up your production capabilities, choosing the right industrial laser cutter is crucial. The 1325 standard CO2 laser machine is an industrial powerhouse highly applicable for the advertising, signage, and wood industries. With its large working area and customizable power options, it is designed to handle heavy-duty materials with precision and speed.

Below is a comprehensive breakdown of the core configurations and features that make the 1325 laser machine a top choice for manufacturers.

Robust Laser Power & Cutting Capacity

The 1325 machine is built to tackle thick materials with ease, offering versatile power configurations to suit your specific industry needs.

-Standard Power: The machine comes standard with a 300w Xinrui bare tube. This laser tube includes a 12-month warranty, though a joint warranty requires an additional fee.

-Maximum Thickness: The 300w laser tube can easily cut through materials with a maximum thickness of 3 centimeters. By comparison, a 150w tube cuts up to 2cm thick at a speed of 1.5MM/S.

-Seamless Upgrades: Customers can opt for laser tubes with protective shells, and a 500w tube can be added directly to the machine without the need to modify the sheet metal.

-Heavy-Duty Applications: For specialized work like the die mold and photo frame industries—which frequently involve cutting wooden boards—a 600w laser tube on a moving table design is available. High-power tubes are available as Beam Combined, Folding, one tube with two cores, and RF tubes.

-Specialized Power Supply: The machine utilizes Hongyuan laser power supplies, featuring two 150w units that are specially matched for the 300w configuration.

Advanced Transmission & Precision Control

Speed and accuracy are vital for large-format cutting, and the 1325 excels thanks to its premium transmission components.

  • Sturdy Bed Structure: The machine’s bed utilizes a square rail welded and sheet metal construction, ensuring much greater stability than a simple sheet metal structure.

  • Rail and Rack System: The transmission features two square rails and one rack. The X-axis utilizes a 15 square rail, while the Y-axis features a 20 square rail with a double rack and double drive setup.

  • Motor Configurations: The standard setup features JMC 86 drive motors. The Y-axis runs on 750w of power, while the X-axis uses 400w.

  • Servo Options: For higher precision, users can upgrade to Leadshine hybrid servos (758 for the Y-axis, 506 for the X-axis). AC servos are also available, specifically the optically braided L7 series, which provides greater stability.

  • System Software: It uses the Ruida control system as a standard. If you require a CCD camera for edge-patrol cutting, both Ruida and Xingduowei systems are optional. The Xingduowei system is highly recommended if using servo motors, as it supports dual drives, dual signals, and has no speed limit.

Superior Cooling & Smoke Exhaust

Operating high-power lasers generates significant heat and smoke. The 1325 incorporates smart design elements to protect the optics and maintain a clean work environment.

  • Plug-and-Play Chiller: A built-in Jinan Wante water chiller is standard, with water pipes pre-connected at the factory so customers can use it immediately without complex setups. External chillers, such as the S&A 6000, are available for a slightly higher price.

  • Optical Protection: For machines 300w and above, the reflection mirrors (including those on the laser head) are water-cooled, while the focus lens remains air-cooled. If you upgrade to 500w, both the reflection and focus lenses are water-cooled.

  • Dual Smoke Suction: The machine utilizes two 750w axial flow fans with dual air suction locations: under the beam and behind the machine.

  • Air Assist & Moisture Control: For machines over 300w, an air compressor (at least 16L recommended) with an oil-water separator is strictly used. This is crucial because accumulated water can easily burn the lens.

  • Flying Light Path: Machines over 300w can install a flying light path (using four or five mirrors). To protect this setup, a fan is added to the beam to blow away smoke, preventing it from interfering with the optical path and reducing laser power.

Flexible Worktable & Laser Heads

  • Table Design: A blade table comes standard, but a honeycomb table can be placed directly on top of it, leaving a 2cm distance between the laser head and the tabletop.

  • Specialized Heads: You can opt for a follow-up laser head for cutting uneven materials, though it cannot cut transparent materials without modifications like pasting Oxford paper. An autofocus laser head is also available as a premium optional upgrade.

    Logistics & Container Loading

If you are importing this machine, planning your shipping container space is easy:

    • Dimensions: The raw machine size is 350020301170mm.

    • Shipping Capacity: When packed in wooden boxes, a 40-size high cabinet container can comfortably hold 6 machines.
